Location
Modern Cologne-Riehl Youth Hostel is in a quiet but central location right on the Rhine. Enjoy the flair of the Cologne metropolis and recover and relax in the hostel after a long day of sightseeing. Thanks to a direct underground connection you can get to the city in just about 10 minutes – an ideal starting point for thoroughly exploring Cologne.
Arrival by public transport
To Cologne Main Station, then take the underground number 18 (direction Thielenbruch) to "Boltensternstraße" stop. 5 minutes’ walk from there.
Arrival from Cologne/Bonn-Airport
From Airport take the airport 'S-Bahn'-train no. 13 or the train R8 to Cologne Main Railway Station. Travelling time approx. 20 minutes.

Location
The youth hostel is situated directly opposite Köln-Deutz station and only 15 minutes away from Cologne Main Station. Many sights, museums and theatres are easily reached on foot or by public transport.
The Cologne Fairgrounds and the "LANXESS Arena" event centre are just a stone’s throw away (200 m). You can hardly get it more central!
Arrival by rail
To Main Station, from there 15 minutes’ walk across the railway bridge or by S-Bahn S11 or S6 to Köln-Deutz station; across the traffic lights on Ottoplatz, then turn right and follow the footpath (signposted) to the left into Siegesstraße right next to the youth hostel.
Arrival from Cologne-Bonn Airport
From Airport take the airport 'S-Bahn'-train no. 13 to Köln-Deutz. Travelling time approx. 15 minutes. From there continue on foot across the traffic lights on Ottoplatz, then turn right and follow the little footpath (signposted) to the left into Siegesstraße right next to the youth hostel.

Location
Located directly at the main train/bus station, with the famous Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), the river Rhine, the Old town with its numerous Beer halls, a significant number of the most important museuems as well as Germanys most frequented shopping street all within 500 meters of our door.
Public Transportation
With Colognes Trade Fair (Messe) just 1 train stop, or 15 minutes walk away,we are the ideal location regardless of whether your trip is for business or pleasure.
Take the main exit of the central station where you see the famous cathedral (DOM) to your left and an offic-building with a ROLEX-commercial on top to your right.

Location
From main station ("Hauptbahnhof") / International bus terminal:
5 minutes by subway: Use the ticket "Kurzstrecke" and take either subway No.16 (direction Bonn/Bad Godesberg) or subway No.18 (direction Klettenberg) for only four stops. Leave the subway at "Barbarossaplatz" and cross the street heading towards McDonald`s. The entrance is at the left side of the building.
